Ntjam Rosie (Vocal)
Ntjam Rosie was born in the south of Cameroon
and moved to Maastricht in Netherlands
at the age of 9.
After her high school, she was initially rejected at Codarts.
After they had broken off, however, the other study started then,
she was adopted and still she studied there with honors.
In 2008 she published her debut album Atouba with own compositions
that are a mixture of jazz, soul and pop with influences from African music.
The style of her second album Elle from 2010 is more jazz direction shifted,
but the African influence remains quite noticeable.
This album is considered to be her breakthrough and provides international fame.
In 2011, she plays at the North Sea Jazz festival.
In 2013, around her thirtieth birthday,
she published her third studio album At the Back of Beyond, in which once again dominate jazz and soul.
